Course cost:  £250   (food and most equipment included)

This three day trip offers a chance to get away from the busyness of everyday life and return to the simplicity of the natural world. Time will be spent walking and wild camping in the mountains of Snowdonia and guided mindfulness practices, periods of silence and group reflection will support bringing a greater awareness to this experience. A reasonable level of fitness is required for this retreat as you will be carrying a rucksack and the ground can sometimes be steep. Previous experience of wild camping or mindfulness practice is not required as guidance will be given.

 

Itinerary

Day 1

·         Arrive midday

·         Meet group and organise kit

·         Half day walking with guided mindfulness practices to first camp

·         Set up tents and cook evening meal (time for group reflections)

Day 2

·       Breakfast, morning meditation and break camp

·       Full day of walking and exploring different aspects of awareness.

·       Set up tents at second camp (time for group reflections)

 

Day 3

·       Breakfast, morning meditation and break camp

·       Half day silent walking

·       Group reflection

·       Depart mid afternoon

What to Bring

We can provide you with a tent, rucksack and will bring all group items and catering equipment. There are a few personal items that you will need to bring but if you do not have any of these please get in touch as we have some spares.  If you are not familiar with wild camping please read our recommendations on equipment
